Entry: Perfection..Imperfection Feb 2, 2004



Perfection.. time spent with people you love..be it face-to-face, on sms or on chat.... Back from another hurried,yet wonderful weekend in Pune. Woke up at 4:30 this morning just so I could get into office and send out some urgent mails to some moronic associate in Australia!!! Am so sleepy right now. Couldn't catch up on my precious sleep on the bus ride back.. they were showing some Salman Khan movie which I resolutely tried to blank out and I am on my way cos I don't remember the name!

Shopped like a maniac in Pune... and also met up with Appy. A wonderfully warm and amazingly level headed girl this one is! Love you Appy! It was reaaallyyyy realllyyy great meeting you....And lets meet up soon!!!

Was wondering on my way back to Bombay....

We live in an imperfect world (do I even need to say why?!)
I am an imperfect person (alright, I admit I try and trick people into thinking that I am perfect, my mom may think I am... but let's face it.. I am not! *grin*)
I am surrounded by imperfection most of the times.... (Jitters et al)
Yet, I always hope, pray and seek perfection....
....and I wonder why?.....

If everything, including me, is far from flawless and perfect, there are bound to be screw-ups, things are bound to go wrong and life will continue being chaotic! So, I may as well accept it and learn to live with imperfection... At least then, I will sleep well at night....

Appy my love, right again... this whole strife to attain perfection is what makes life worth living... but sometimes.. i just wish i could be happy with the way things are- imperfect and flawed... but somehow I just can't...! :))

Wouldn't life become way toooo boring if everything was perfect? The pursuit to achieve perfection is what makes life even more interesting than what it would be otherwise. And the knowledge that we will get there someday is what makes it worth living...

Hey Maverick...
Sometimes I want to give on trying to achieve perfection... and then there are times when I agree with pt.2 that you've made.... Can there ever be a perfect solution to this?!

Yeah, there are truths in these:
1.We live in an imperfect world=>there's no prefect man nor a woman.
2.That should not stop us from seeking perfection=>Trying to achieve so would be the most ideal goal even if it means spending a lifetime on it..
Just my thoughts..
